Many people call our office with a dental emergency, and they need to be seen as soon as possible. We make it a priority to offer extended hours, and we want those patients to be able to be seen at a convenient time for them.
If they have a dental emergency, or if they're in dental pain, we want to try to get them in that day. We actually plan for and schedule opportunities for our patients to come in for dental emergencies. It is our goal to see them that day or the next day if possible.
Dental emergencies are no fun. If you fall and chip your front tooth after jumping on a trampoline or on the skateboard accident that's happened, and we want to take care of that emergency immediately, and help our patients get through.
Dental emergencies can be addressed in our office usually the same or next day. We want to get the patients in, get them comfortable, address the emergency that they're having, and then follow up with them and make sure the dental care that they needed is taken care of.
- End the pain you are feeling.
- Stop the damage before it gets worse.
- Restore any damage that was done.
We set aside time each day for emergency treatments. Call 719-249-2854 now if you need immediate care, and we will see you as soon as we can. You can take advantage of our sedation options if you’re nervous about your treatment.
If you don’t need emergency care at the moment, save our number. We want you to be able to reach Accura Dental quickly when you need us.
Don’t Wait When You’re Having Oral Pain
Any emergency involving your mouth should be addressed as early as you are able. This includes:
- Toothaches and tooth pains
- Broken and cracked teeth
- Painful gums
- Teeth that have been knocked out
When you call, our dental professionals can advise you on what to do before you meet us in person. During your visit, our immediate goal will be to stop your pain. Then we can discuss what should be done to get your oral health and your smile back on track. This could involve anything from root canals to dental crowns to teeth replacements with dental implants.
Take Steps to Prevent Problems
No one can anticipate every possible accident or injury that could lead to an oral emergency. However, you can reduce your risk of having these problems.
Brushing and flossing daily and visiting us for professional dental cleanings and exams can prevent tooth decay. This can stop cavities, tooth infections, and other serious concerns. If you play sports, you should be wearing an athletic mouthguard anytime you are practicing or competing. The best protection comes from custom-fitted mouthguards, which we can provide for you or your children.
Regardless, we want you to know that our team at Accura Dental is here for you. For help with dental emergencies in Colorado Springs, CO, call 719-249-2854 right away.
